About

A digital and graphic designer based in London, David Nguyen crafts clean, modern and meaningful design solutions for websites, user interfaces (UI), brand identities and more.

With a decade-long track record of compelling work for clients in the corporate, cultural, technology and entertainment sectors, his design philosophy is decidedly pragmatic: successful design balances the interests of businesses with the experience of customers.

David is also co-founder of design studio Temple with Roberto Crippa. Together, the pair specialise in producing high-end design for clients with a cultural edge, whether in art, music, film, fashion or beyond.

In his spare time, David writes and directs films.

Design Career

A graduate of the multimedia program at Australia's Swinburne University but effectively self-taught as a designer, David started his career in 2001 at Melbourne digital agency Acumen Multimedia (later known as Acumentum) working on usability-driven web projects for government, education and corporate clients including The City of Melbourne and Cisco.

In 2004, he became lead designer at independent music company Stomp Entertainment, managing its diverse output of work including design and art direction for album covers and marketing communications as well as web design for some of Australia’s major online entertainment retailers.

After moving to London in 2007, David joined KeeScott (now KS Agency) working on corporate branding and marketing projects in addition to leading the company’s digital and web design initiatives.

In 2008, David joined creative agency FMG as Senior Designer, continuing his work in UI, web design and brand identity but extending his focus to mobile and even editorial design.

In 2011, with fellow art director and designer Roberto Crippa, he co-founded the design studio Temple.
